Catching up!

I had a blast at the soccer tournament! Did we win? Not even close! Did we have fun? We sure did!

I forgot to share my Cupcakes for Critters donation. I made one donation aimed at cat lovers and one aimed at dog lovers. Here is the dog donation - a collar tag for the dog and a necklace for the person ...



And here are some new designs I just finished up. Some golden yellow Czech glass earrings and a gorgeous sterling silver necklace with AAA grade kyanite. The earrings are available in my ArtFire shop. The necklace is at Gili Anna's in La Jolla.

Senior Games Art Fair (and soccer tournament)

I'll be selling at the Senior Olympics Soccer Tournament again this year. This year I'm old enough to play too! Here are some of the gals who will be selling with me:

We'll be at Hourglass Field in Mira Mesa (just south of Miramar College). Park in the Miramar College parking lot. We'll be there from 9-4 on Saturday and from 8-3 on Sunday. Here's a mapquest link if you need it: Hourglass Field. Hope to see some of you there!

OK - so strange things inspire me.  This time it was a very happy pig!  I love the glass creatues made by Gelly of Gelly Beads.  Her Porkchop with bling glass pig inspired me to make this collection of smiles!

And the smiles have it!

I do!  I've been keeping tabs on "Cupcakes for Critters", a fundraising event in many places, but specifically the one here in San Diego.  I'm going to donate some auction items and hopefully attend the kickoff so I can get some yummy cupcakes!  That event and a glass cupcake made by a fellow California artist Joy of GlassSculpture.org inspired this collection of handmade cupcakes - edible and not...
